Exercise to lose fat

Those stored in the liver are practically exhausted in just 8-12 hours, but muscle reserves, due to their “selfishness”, do not shake after a night of rest.

     In short, people need to make sure if they want to benefit from this tool, that our last meal was not abundant in carbohydrates, to start from low glycogen reserves; a situation theoretically favorable to the mobilization of fats during exercise.

     Researchers say that training on an empty stomach promotes lipolysis (a physiological process that allows the use of fat as fuel), which is insignificant in the context of an ordinary person who wants to lose weight. They also say that exercise on an empty stomach can be a valuable tool to get rid of so-called stubborn fat, so it is called such by the bodybuilding population.

     People still have to realize that the exercises are of 2 types: more intense and less intense. The context of exercises that promote lipolysis that I mentioned earlier is one that requires low intensity (so-called fasting cardio).

     In the case of intense exercise, if we want to measure ourselves, we will need complete glycogen stores (after a fast, these stores will be “semi-empty”). Otherwise, our performance will suffer.
